THE Republic of Ireland U18 side will face Hungary in their opening game in the three-team tournament in Sweden later today.
2nd Jun 2016
Tom Mohan's side meet the Hungarians in Kestvallen at 6.00pm GMT today. Hungary drew 0-0 with Sweden in the first game in the tournament on Tuesday.
"We watched that game and Hungary are decent good attacking players so will provide our lads with a really good test," said Mohan.
"With travelling we've had to pack a lot into the week already but we've had good few days with the players. The players and the staff are all looking forward to this game and the Sweden fixture.
"It's a good chance for these lads to show they can perform at international level and they can make an impression to show that they can be options at U19 level next season."
