Republic of Ireland Under-18 manager Sean McCaffrey named a squad of 18 players for the double-header of friendly matches against Turkey in Antalya on October 13 and 15.
Though there are no competitive fixtures at this age-level, these pair of matches will enable McCaffrey to begin preparations for next season's Under-19 UEFA Championship qualifying campaign.
Three home-based players are included; Monaghan United goalkeeper Aaron McCarey, Sean Stewart of Shamrock Rovers and Castleisland striker Sean Brosnan.
McCaffrey has also called up for the first time under his tenure Michael Harriman (QPR), Paul McBride (Tottenham Hotspur) and Jordan Keegan (Southampton).
"These are the first steps towards next season's U-19 UEFA Championship and it's important to assemble this group of players to assess their progress," said McCaffrey.
"Some of the more established players from this squad will not be with us in Turkey, providing an opportunity for newcomers to impress me and show they're up to international standard.
"Turkey will certainly be strong. They have qualified for the forthcoming FIFA U18 World Cup in Nigeria and are using these two games as warm-up."
