Republic of Ireland U-17 Manager, Sean McCaffrey was dealt a further blow on Friday with the withdrawal of three Glasgow Celtic players from the squad which will travel to Iceland for the Nordic Cup on Sunday.
Due to club commitments, Paul Skinner, Paul Cahillane and Graham Carey, Glasgow Celtic, were all withdrawn from the squad.
Coming in to the squad to replace them are, Michael Daly (Cherry Orchard), Conor Murphy (SCCPC) and Vincent Whelan (Wrexham)
The squad will assemble in Dublin on Sunday when they will travel to Iceland for the Nordic Championship.
The Republic of Ireland kick-off their Championship against a strong Norway side at the Fylkisvollur Stadium, Reykjavik on Tuesday 2nd August, 14.30hrs.
