Ollie Conmy although born in Mulrany, County Mayo, he left Mayo when he was 9 years old.

He started his professional career at Huddersfield Town.

In 1964 he transferred to Peterborough Utd where he won his five international caps

He spent eight seasons at Peterborough United. Peterborough although finishing in 9th position were relegated to the fourth division as they were found guilty of making illegal payments in 1967-1968.

He was released in 1972 and went on to play non league football for Cambridge City.

He was capped five times in total for the Republic of Ireland international football team at senior level.
