Missed the decisive Euro 97 qual in Brussels 4.5.96 after picking up a knock in the home fixture 31.3.96. Scored twice in 3-1 home Euro qual win over Faroes 28.10.95. In 1995 FAI Cup final scored twice directly from corners in Rathfarnham's 3-0 win over College Corinthians at what is now the Oscar Traynor Centre in Coolock, August 1995. M Leahy scored the other goal when McNally's freekick was parried. Was attached to West Coast Coolers basketball club at the time. Rathfarnham midfielder listed in prog for Euro qual v Wales, Steboneath Park, Llanelli, 8.10.95. Won 24 caps. Described by Mick Cooke as one of the best athletes he ever worked with: "Angie was supreme, a dream to coach and what an engine," he said. A teacher at Rosary College, Ballyfermot (1998).
