Match report
Ireland concluded their Elite phase of the European Qualifiers with a 2-0 win over Slovenia.

Irealnd won two of their three gamews but the 1-0 defeat to England means that England qualify for the European Finals.

Ireland took the lead after 38 minutes when Mark Quigley having been set up by Richie Ryan left the keep without a chance witha powerful shot.

Ireland continued to press in the second half and they were rewarded when substitute Wilo Flood was fouled in the box and Stephen Elliott had no difficult in converting the spot kick with twelve minutes remaining.

Slovenia were reduced to 10 men when Kelhar was dismissed following an off the ball incident with Richie Ryan.
