Ireland got revenge for their defeat on Tuesday by beating Denmark by 2 goals to one.

Ireland were on top throughout and Denmark were grateful to their Keeper Lindegarde who denied both Karl Bermingham and David Byrne.

Denmark took the lead after 55 minutes when Jepp Curth opened the scoring after waht looked suspiciosly like a hand ball in the lead up to the goal.

Stephen Elliott equalised froma cross by Glenn Whelan after 61 minutes.

Ireland scored the winner after 69 minutes when Richie Ryan hit a screamer.

Glen Whelan was unfortunately sent off late in the game.
