Match report
Dave Connell's Republic of Ireland Women's Under-19s ended their UEFA Women's Under-19 Championship Qualifying Round with a 100% record after a 3-0 win against Ukraine, in Lithuania.

A goal from Lucia Lobato in the first-half, followed by two goals in the final ten minutes from Alannah McEvoy (above) and Tiegan Ruddy meant Ireland ended the campaign with 13-goals scored, and none conceded.

Speaking after the match, Head Coach Connell revealed he was delighted to leave Lithuania with three wins from three.

"It's been three very different games. Ukraine were very physical. We kept our head and scored three lovely goals. Our class shone through in the end.

"We set our our objectives coming over and winning all three games was one of those. We weren't over-confident coming to Lithuania, but we knew if we applied ourselves we had a brilliant chance of winning all our games.

"It's a brilliant bunch of girls to work with. I'm delighted that all 20 players played over the course of the three games too."

The draw for the Elite Round will take place in November, with the matches to be played in Spring 2019.
