The Republic of Ireland Under-18s were denied victory in a friendly match against Cyprus after conceding an equalising goal in injury time.
Paul Scally and Jimmy Keohane both came close for Ireland in the first half, after both players headed narrowly over from corner kicks.
Level at the break, it was the 76th minute before Ireland got their reward. Shane Howard fed the ball across goal and Wexford Youths player Keohane's bravery paid off when he slid in to steer the ball home from five yards.
It looked as if the Irish were to record a win, but they were denied victory in the first minute of injury time when Theofarous scored at the back post after converting a low cross.
The Irish almost struck again, but Howard's brilliant shot from 20 yards flew just wide of the target.
