Under 17s win again
The Republic of Ireland Under 17s made it two wins out of two when they beat Slovenia 2-0 at Whitehall on Thursday night.
Strikes from James Ryan and William John Kiely in each half gave Ireland a comfortable win over opponents they had beaten 4-1 on Tuesday night.
Ryan opened the scoring early in the first half with a clinical strike from close range whle Kiely scored within minutes of coming on late in the second half.
