Match report
Ireland’s Under 15 team won the Celtic Tri Nations Tournament on Saturday (June 3rd) by beating host nation Wales in Aberystwyth.

The tournament was played at both ‘A’ and ‘B ‘grades, with the Republic claiming victory in both sections.

Mark Power scored the only goal of the game from the penalty spot to give the ‘A’ team the win and the goals for ‘B’ team came from Ronan Murray and Conor Hoorihane in their 2-2 draw against the ‘dragons‘.

Erris United player Ronan Murray made a big impression during Ireland’s 6-1 win over Northern Ireland on Friday by scoring a first-half hat-trick in the space of eight minutes.

Saturday’s games concludes the campaign for this particular group of players, who now go forward to next season’s Under-16 series in good spirits.
