Match report
The second game saw Ireland face the Spanish Under 16 side.

Ireland had to plan without Conor Clifford, Gavin Mc Ardle and Greg Cunninghma due to injuries, resulting in John Dunleavy operating as an emergency midfielder.

It is difficult enough to beat the Spainish at the best of times but to be giving them a year is almost impossible.

And so it proved as Spain ran out 3-0 winners.

The games played in 28-29 degrees saw Ireland perform admirably and Ireland once again struck the crossbar, although

Ireland had the majority of the play they were ubable to cross the Spanish goal line. They certainly had chances with both Doran and Satelle missing golden opportunities.

The Spanish on the other hand were far more clinical and proved with their 3 goals.

An indication of the possession that Ireland had was the corner count that saw Ireland with 10 corners against Spains 4

This game was refereed by a differant referee who protected the players and punished any indiscretion immediately resulting in a far better game.
