Rep of Ireland 3-1 Norway
Noel O’Reilly’s Irish under-17 side will face hosts Portugal in a winner-take-all final game of the quadrangular tournament in the Algarve on Tuesday after taking their second win in the space of 24 hours on Sunday.

The Irish kids defeated Russia on a 3-0 scoreline on Saturday, and the hero of that match, Notts County’s Leon Best, was back among the goals in Sunday’s win over Norway.

Best, who scored twice against the Russians, took his tally to three in two games with the second goal of the game against the Norwegians.

Damien Coleman of Ballyglass and Aston Villa’s Stephen Foley-Sheridan grabbed the other goals for the all-conquering Irish, who can claim the trophy with victory over the Portuguese on Tuesday afternoon
