Ireland manager Stephen Kenny has called Nottingham Forest defender Cyrus Christie and Burnley centre-back Kevin Long into his squad for the Euro 2020 Play-Off semi-final against Slovakia on Thursday and the subsequent UEFA Nations League games against Wales and Finland.

Cyrus, on a season long loan at Forest from Fulham, replaces Everton captain Seamus Coleman who withdrew from the squad on Sunday afternoon after a scan revealed the full extent of a hamstring injury picked up in the game against Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday.
Like Cyrus, Kevin comes into the squad for the first time under Stephen Kenny and is named as a replacement for Blackburn Rovers defender Darragh Lenihan who picked up a knee injury in training late last week.
The Ireland manager will monitor a thigh injury picked up by Nottingham Forest midfielder Harry Arter before finalising his squad for the games in Bratislava, Dublin and Helsinki.
The Irish squad will train at the FAI’s National Training Centre in Abbotstown on Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning before flying to Slovakia on Tuesday afternoon.
