Debut v NI in Nov 87 friendly win, Greenpark United defender "seen as a very competitive player, very cool under pressure and not hesitant about tackling". Played for an ex-International X1 v Limerick League at Jackman Park in October 1997: "...the ex-internationals defence of Marion Slattery, Rose Cross and Imelda O'Hanlon were rock solid..." - Limerick Leader. A Limerick United player nominated for 91/92 Opel POTY w C Nagle and winner Yvonne Lyons. Made squad for 8.12.91 Euro qualifier in Spain after making costly trips along the N7 from Limerick to training sessions in Dublin for 7 successive weekends (along w Limerick teamate J McCarthy). Started Ireland's 1-0 defeat by Spain at Dalyer 22.3.92 but subbed after 22 minutes (injured?) for A Dunne. Made FAI referee panel in July 2003 (same time as Rhona Daly). First gig as assistant in LOI Div 1 12.7.03 Galway v Monaghan. Assistant in the 2004 LFAI Cup final at Lansdowne Road.
