Doolin to open Drog shop Drogheda United manager Paul Doolin will take time out from his Setanta Sports Cup Final preparations to officially open THE DROG SHOP at Madame Le Worthy’s on Shop Street this Easter Saturday, April 15th. Paul, who will be accompanied by players and club officials, is due to cut the ribbon at 3pm on the day. Local businessman Robert Victory is the proprietor of The Drog Shop and is delighted with the opportunity to involve with Drogheda United at the most exiting time in the club’s history. Speaking from his town centre premises Robert explained “I have been involved with Drogheda United since for five months now and in that short time they have reached two cup finals, brought home the FAI Cup and are the current pace-setters in the eircom League Premier Division”. He added “The interest in the club is phenomenal and I’m delighted to be so closely involved in these successful times”. The FAI Cup will be on display and the Setanta Sports Cup will also be paying the shop a visit ahead of next Saturday’s final at Tolka Park where the Drogs take on Cork City. Fans will have the opportunity for photographs and Drogheda United would like to extend an open invitation for fans to attend the event. Tickets for the Setanta Sports Cup Final will be on sale from Drogheda United (and Cork City) from tomorrow (April 14th) |
