Two panels selected for next week's internationals against N Ireland The teams will play an 'A' fixture next Tuesday, October 24th (kick-off 7.30pm) before the 'B' squads meet the following day, October 25th (kick-off 12.30pm). Both matches will take place at Home Farm's ground in Whitehall. Ireland were last week deprived of their first victory of the season when they were held to a 1-1 draw by Wales at Whitehall. Jonathan Dunleavey headed Ireland into a half-time lead but Wales found an equaliser two minutes in injury time. Next week's matches will bring the total number of outings for this age-group at International level to nine. Irish manager Vincent Butler said: "Northern Ireland always give us a difficult game and these matches should be no different." He added, "We will assess what we have after these matches, the purpose of the games before Christmas is to try out players and give them the opportunity to impress at International level. I hope to organise a training camp over the Christmas break where we have a few days to work with the squad." Butler Concluded, "We are planning towards the two tournaments in Montagiu, France and another in Ballymena, both of which take place in April of next year."
